has spent most of his life in and around America’s Rust Belt
region, in addition to a short stint in Western Ireland. He
currently lives in Iowa City.

touring with shitty bands, drinking too much coffee, toss, get fed,
late-night radio shows, graphomania, women, exploring the gulch,
greatest hits, “the hippie thing,” two-lanes, making some sketch,
couch, 2 a.m. monster movie, hanging out at it, mixed mesophytic
forest, busker, dirt-surfing, beer, “fuck the hippie thing,” happy,
playing electrified banjos, whisky-politik, spots or glue, he had his
